PTTRNS – IN THE STUDIO SOON, NEW ALBUM EARLY 2013
Man, it’s been ages! So much the better we now are able to get a hint of goooood PTTRNS-related news out to the world. We just returned from a drastic weekend trip with PTTRNS and attended the two final shows for 2012 packed with a fresh, all-new set of songs. Okay, to be honest, we were a bit skeptic after we’ve been told that the new songs are a bit … ‘different’ before we heard them but all our worries were wiped away in an instant. We switched to drastic-dance-mode after the first couple of seconds… and couldn’t stop until our feet got sore. Even better: PTTRNS will lock themselves inside Dumbo Studios (again) together with Jan-Phillip Jansen pretty much now to record all those new tunes which then will be released as their full-lenght album number 2 in early 2013!!
Also, give their label mates, The Dropout Patrol a chance:

We’re still reeling over the news that PINBACK ARE FINALLY RELEASING A NEW RECORD!!! But we have to compose ourselves as there is so much amazing stuff happening between now and then that we can barely contain ourselves. So let’s get right to it!
…and there’s more!

Right, so I’m a bit late with this one, but I found that Fang Island had done a really sweet instrumental EP back in 2008, and it’s worth listening to.
Ever-productive Vialka and KIV Orchestra have created something of a small masterpiece that they’re now touring with. Don’t miss it friends!
Nope, Porous Smile. To be released on Obscene Baby Action, June 1st.
Hello! Shiko Shiko is a French party math/electro band. And they sound fantastic. Here’s their new EP:
Aquapark by Shiko Shiko (シコシコ) on bandcamp
They also have a blog with mixtaps <3 shikoshiko.tv
Tera Melos: If you live in Europe, you almost can’t miss them. And there’s no reason, you should.. played an outstanding show in Copenhagen, really energetic and creative.. top stuff, thanks guys!
Consistency, consistency, consistency. The good way of sticking to what you do best. Well, musically speaking it’s an incredible album, a worthy follow up to Tanknology and The Day of Death by Bono Adrenaline Shock. Drums and guitar. However, entertainingly long track titles are missing. I do wonder what “NWONWOBHM” is an acronym for… upsetting how they’ve changed.
New album is out on CD at Gringo Records and vinyl at Obscene Baby Auction.
