Consistency, consistency, consistency. The good way of sticking to what you do best. Well, musically speaking it’s an incredible album, a worthy follow up to Tanknology and The Day of Death by Bono Adrenaline Shock. Drums and guitar. However, entertainingly long track titles are missing. I do wonder what “NWONWOBHM” is an acronym for… upsetting how they’ve changed.

New album is out on CD at Gringo Records and vinyl at Obscene Baby Auction.

Even though it seems like Turing Machine have taken a huge leap and started sounding like Trans Am or something, I think they still deserve an honourable mention considering their previous merits. Few other bands have made as defining records as A New Machine For Living and the 2004 follow-up Zwei. And that’s why releasing a third one shouldn’t go unnoticed.

Temporary Residence news update:

HOLY BALLS NEW IT’S A NEW TURING MACHINE RECORD!!!

Way back in the early oughts we tried to sign one of our favorite power trios ever, the mighty Brooklyn beast that is Turing Machine. It might have taken them nearly a decade to respond to our advances, but better late than never, we say (especially when the record is this damned good). ‘What Is The Meaning Of What’ is Turing Machine’s third album in 15 years. Certainly not the most prolific, but what they lack in timeliness they more than make up for in bone-rattling badass beats. Seriously, this is not to be passed on. The first 100 vinyl pre-orders will receive limited edition pink swirl vinyl! This is a pre-order and will ship on or around April 15.

Everyone misses Piglet! But no one ever expressed their feelings like Weye. I hope that once in a faraway future, someone will miss you guys just as much, Weye. Maybe that Piglet comes back and starts missing you too, and then everyone can miss each other and only express feelings with tapping and awesome drumming..

From now on I shall only be considering bands that are called something with “tiger”. Like for instance The Bulletproof Tiger:

Out December 2011… which was not so long ago, so i’m posting this in the news section…

p.s. if you’re from Three Trapped Tigers, please do something that I can write about. There really isn’t so many tiger bands.
